Writer, Research & Technical
Liz Ashby provides technical support for Howard Delafield International (HDI) applying her research and writing expertise to HDI collaborations. Since joining the HDI team in February 2020 as a Research Associate, Liz has further expanded her scope to include game-based learning in global health applications. She is currently the lead technical writer on the HDI team for the 5-year, USAID-funded Game of Choice, Not Chance Project.
With a background in One Health, Environmental Science, and human behavioral research, Liz is fascinated by the multifaceted aspects of global health. She has previously enjoyed working on research projects that explore the intersection of animal, human, and environmental health in Kenya, Mongolia, and the U.S. In connection with HDI, Liz has also collaborated on projects that assess human perceptions of the connection between humans, animals, and the environment.
Liz holds a Master’s Degree in Environmental Science and Policy from George Mason University.
