Director, Game of Choice, Not Chance Marketing & Partnerships
Kavita Ayyagari brings 19 years of rich experience in the field of Public Health Advocacy, Marketing & Communications and Program Management to her current role as the Director of Marketing & Partnerships for the HDI-led Game of Choice, Not Chance. A lead member of HDI’s India-based team, she is directing the design, development, and implementation of the end-user marketing program for Game of Choice, Not Chance.
Prior to joining Howard Delafield International (HDI), Kavita has led innovative private sector partnerships for Pathfinder International and Abt Associates on adolescent health and family planning. She has worked with the International Union against tuberculosis and lung disease by increasing political will and mobilizing leadership and resources for TB. At Save The Children, Kavita addressed newborn child survival, and applied her expertise at the World Bank, sanitation and hygiene challenges. She has 10+ years experience with USAID and Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation-funded endeavors, and has worked with diverse teams and partners implementing projects across UP, Bihar, Jharkhand, Uttarakhand and Maharashtra.
She holds a Master’s Degree in Economics and a Post Graduate diploma in Mass Communications, and is currently pursuing a PhD at JNU in the Department of Community Health & Social Medicine.
Kavita divides her time between two cities, a cat and a dog, two teenagers, her terrace garden and her work.
